PROHIBITED ITEMS

Only send parcels that are safe, lawful and accepted for courier transport.

Before booking a collection, check that every parcel is properly packaged, correctly labelled and suitable for the courier network.

Do not send

  • Weapons & Explosives: Ammunition, firearms, replica weapons, fireworks, or fire extinguishers.
  • Flammables & Gases: Aerosols (deodorant, hairspray), perfume, aftershave, nail varnish, matches, lighters, or gas canisters.
  • Power Sources: Loose lithium batteries (batteries must be inside a device, never loose in the packaging).
  • Dangerous Substances: Illegal narcotics, prescription drugs, toxic waste, or corrosive/hazardous chemicals.
  • Restricted Goods: Live animals/insects, counterfeit items, used cosmetics, or illegal goods.
  • Courier Bans: Any items specifically banned or restricted by the relevant destination courier network.
  • Parcels that are leaking, unsafe, poorly packaged or incorrectly labelled.

No-Compensation Items (Send at Your Own Risk)

The following items can be collected, but destination couriers will not provide insurance cover or compensation if they are lost, leaked, or damaged. You send these entirely at your own risk:

  • Fragile Materials: Glass, ceramics, porcelain, pottery, clay, resin, marble, or slate.
  • Liquids & Perishables: Gels, creams, liquids of any kind, fresh food, and frozen items.
  • Unsecured Valuables: Cash, gift cards, activated SIM cards, passports, deeds, or certificates.
  • High-End Luxury: Jewelry, watches, or precious metals valued over £250 (unless booked via a specialized high-security courier service).
  • Unique Items: Original artwork, antiques, furs, scale models, and collector memorabilia.

Customer responsibility

By booking a collection, you confirm that each parcel is lawful, securely packaged, correctly labelled and suitable for collection and courier handoff.

You must also make sure the correct parcel reference is visible where required, any uploaded QR label is accurate, and someone authorised is available at the collection address.
