Only send parcels that are safe, lawful and accepted for courier transport.
Before booking a collection, check that every parcel is properly packaged, correctly labelled and suitable for the courier network.
Do not send
- Weapons & Explosives: Ammunition, firearms, replica weapons, fireworks, or fire extinguishers.
- Flammables & Gases: Aerosols (deodorant, hairspray), perfume, aftershave, nail varnish, matches, lighters, or gas canisters.
- Power sources: Drop For Me does not accept loose lithium batteries. Batteries contained in devices still require compliance with the specific carrier service rules; being inside a device does not guarantee acceptance.
- Dangerous Substances: Illegal narcotics, prescription drugs, toxic waste, or corrosive/hazardous chemicals.
- Restricted Goods: Live animals/insects, counterfeit items, used cosmetics, or illegal goods.
- Courier Bans: Any items specifically banned or restricted by the relevant destination courier network.
- Parcels that are leaking, unsafe, poorly packaged or incorrectly labelled.
Carrier-specific restrictions and compensation
Fragile, liquid, perishable, valuable and irreplaceable items may be restricted or excluded from compensation by your chosen carrier service. Do not assume that any item is accepted or covered. Check that service’s current packaging, contents and compensation rules before booking; contact us when uncertain.
Customer responsibility
By booking you confirm that every parcel is lawful, securely packaged, correctly labelled and suitable for collection and carrier handoff. An authorised person must be available for attended collection. Unattended collection is permitted only when explicitly selected with the required consent and safe-place instructions.
Drop For Me handling limit
Drop For Me accepts parcels up to 15kg each. Your parcel must also comply with the size, weight and contents rules of the courier/service shown on your label or QR code. Size presets do not override carrier-specific dimensions.
Our restrictions and your carrier rules
The items listed under “Do not send” are Drop For Me restrictions. They apply even if another carrier offers a specialist service. Do not book age-restricted goods that require an identity or age-verification process we have not agreed to support. Carrier-specific restrictions apply in addition, including any rules for liquids, aerosols, perfume, batteries, hazardous goods and high-value items.
